Aguilar DB 700 – Hybrid Bass Amplifier Head

The Aguilar DB 700 delivers the tube-driven tone of the DB 751 in a lightweight 700-watt head built for today's bassist. A dual 12AX7 tube preamp produces deep lows, rich mids and articulate highs with the warmth and punch Aguilar is known for, while a Class D power section keeps the weight down to 5.08 kg.

Tube Preamp and Tone Controls

At the heart of the DB 700 is a 2x 12AX7 tube-driven preamp. The single-channel design offers Gain and Master controls, a 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and Deep and Bright controls for quick tonal shaping. A -10 dB input pad and a Mute switch complete the front end.

Power and Headroom

With 700 watts of continuous Class D power, the DB 700 offers plenty of headroom and clarity for small venues and large stages alike, and it drives an external speaker cabinet through its two Speakon speaker outputs.

Connectivity and Aguilar Cabinet Suite

Dual XLR outputs, an effects loop (Send/Return), a tuner output, an aux input and a headphone output cover everything from live performance to silent practice. USB-C connects the amp to the Aguilar Cabinet Suite, which lets you load cabinet IRs and fine-tune your direct sound. IR Selector, Mix, Pre/Post and Ground Lift controls help integrate the direct signal into any rig.

Tour-Ready Design

The durable, rack-mountable chassis comes with rack ears for easy integration into a rack. Universal mains (100–240 V) make the DB 700 ready for touring anywhere in the world.
