Steel Panther is a glam metal band from Los Angeles, California, known for their comedic approach to music. Led by singer Michael Starr, the group started in 2000 as Metal Shop and later became Metal Skool before taking on their current name in 2008. Their songs feature humorous and explicit lyrics that parody the excesses and style of the 1980s glam metal scene.
