Sonny & Cher

Sonny and Cher were a popular American pop duo in the 1960s and 1970s, formed by husband and wife Sonny Bono and Cher. They first gained fame in 1965 with hits like Baby Don't Go and I Got You Babe. Over their career, they released several albums, appeared in films, and became television stars with their successful variety shows. The duo sold over 40 million records and received two Grammy nominations. After their divorce in 1975, Cher pursued a major solo music and acting career, while Sonny Bono went into politics. Both were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
