Irving Ampofo Adjei, born on October 6, 1994, and known professionally as Headie One, is a British rapper and singer recognized for helping shape the UK drill scene. Rising to prominence with his 2018 mixtape The One and the acclaimed single Know Better with RV, he went on to gain mainstream success with hits including 18hunna featuring Dave, Only You Freestyle with Drake, and Ain’t It Different with AJ Tracey and Stormzy. His mixtape Music x Road reached the top five on the UK Albums Chart, and in 2020, his debut album Edna, dedicated to his late mother, debuted at number one, cementing his place as one of the leading voices in contemporary British rap.
