The new VOLUME series from Tamburo represents the beginning of a new renaissance in the world of acrylic drums.
The VOLUME kettles are uniquely designed and built using a "centrifugal" casting process that creates a unique, finished shell, without any seams. Without a seam, VOLUME is more durable, creates a projected tone, and is more flexible and less prone to cracking than other acrylic drum sets on the market. Despite this, it is thinner and lighter (with shell thicknesses between 3 mm and 4 mm). In addition, a special composition of methacrylate was developed to meet the sound and tonal requirements of today's drummers. The VOLUME acrylic bowls are also equipped with Tamburo's patented Strong Traction "ST" tab, tailor-made for the VOLUME series. These special machine heads are made of aluminum or brass and offer a special tuning technology.
