Practice snare technique at home with minimal noise using the PDQ-8S, a snare pad from the V-Drums Quiet Design series that reduces playing sounds by up to 75 percent. Independent head and rim triggering gives you full snare expression even at whisper-quiet levels.

A honeycomb rubber insert covered with a mesh head absorbs impact energy, while engineered vents allow air pressure to dissipate. The soft rubber-covered rim ensures rimshots are quiet too, and the head/rim connection is isolated with rubber material to prevent vibration transfer.

Independent head and rim triggering lets you play distinct sounds for each zone. The 8-inch playing surface with a 10-inch rim diameter provides comfortable snare technique. Compatible with V-Drums modules TD-07, TD-17, TD-27, TD-50X, and V71.
