Charcoal in a tube. It is made of wood charcoal and gum Arabic in a liquid, pasty consistency. It is designed for water-soluble and watercolor works. The charcoal particles are small and have the richest black tones, allowing you to create any work as with water-based paint. Compared to black watercolor paint, it shows a different pigment granulation, which is useful for special effects or for very intense shades when mixed with other paints. When dry, it is matt and has areas of texture and grain. As gum Arabic is a well soluble medium, it can be re-dissolved with water as any watercolour paints.
