Original IDT system - Integrated Dual Feed / Transport - a patented system from Pfaff - absolutely even feeding of fabric from above and below, excellent for fine and very heavy materials in several layers, prevents the individual layers of material from shifting between each other. The same applies to backstitching, where the IDT system can work in reverse and the material is evenly moved back and forth. You don't need to buy a less effective presser foot that doesn't have the same power. The system can be easily turned on or off.

The IDT system is used when sewing specific thin materials that slip when sewing, causing the material to shift relative to each other at the end of the seam. It can also be used when sewing multiple layers with filling between the materials. Bottom feed alone cannot handle this material, causing the bottom material to shift while the top material remains in place and wrinkles.

The IDT system moves both the upper and lower materials and can also move the filling with pressure. You can also use the IDT system for materials that do not slide under the presser foot. Again, poor movement occurs when the bottom feed is unable to move the material, even if you manually increase the pressure of the presser foot. The IDT system grips the fabric smoothly from both the bottom and the top and feeds it evenly. This ensures a perfect stitch without skipping. You will appreciate this especially when sewing more expensive fabrics or leather and imitation leather, which cannot be repaired by unpicking because the needle has already damaged the fabric.

The display shows the stitch number, and you can also save your most frequently used stitches in the machine's quick memory.

Free-motion sewing - suitable for simple quilting and embroidery. Simply press the lever to hide the bottom feed dog and you can start quilting immediately.

Free-motion quilting plate (can be purchased separately) - this stitch plate has a needle hole exactly in the center, as you only use a straight stitch for free-motion quilting. The stitch plate prevents damage to the hook, as it holds the needle perfectly in a straight stitch. This not only prevents damage to the hook if you pull the fabric unnecessarily while quilting and deflect the needle to the side, but also ensures that the stitch is precise, the stitches are even, and you can use both weak and thin needles. For quilting, we recommend special quilting needles, which have better properties and prevent deviation from the axis.

With 29 needle positions, right and left zipper sensitivity, and many beautiful stitches, nothing is a problem.

Manual presser foot pressure adjustment - normally you set the presser foot pressure on the machine to the “N” position, which is automatic pressure, but you can also set the pressure yourself, which is a huge advantage over machines with automatic presser foot pressure adjustment, as any seamstress who sews different materials will confirm. If the machine only has the so-called automatic presser foot pressure adjustment option, it is controlled only by a simple option of stable spring pressure, which increases slightly with the height of the material. In contrast, manual presser foot pressure is excellent and commonly used in industrial machines, where you can set the appropriate pressure yourself. With manual presser foot pressure, you can adjust the pressure on the material according to your immediate needs. You can press the presser foot down hard, so that the material is fed perfectly by the feed dog, or you can set a light pressure so that the material is not damaged or bunched up under the presser foot. Simply use the functions as you would on an industrial machine. In combination with IDT, you will have no problems.

Manual adjustment of the sewing speed on the machine; by reducing the maximum speed, you can achieve finer control of the pedal, which is especially useful when sewing hard-to-reach areas or when sewing leather, for example, where you want to sew very slowly and see where the needle is going.

Raised presser foot position - suitable for sewing thick fabrics or quilting under the presser foot, raising the presser foot above the normal standard allows you to insert folded materials where the height of the materials is very high. You don't have to laboriously press the material together and push it under the presser foot. This pressing usually causes the material to shift, resulting in poor stitching and unnecessary unpicking.

Simple and quick stitch selection: select the program type and press the desired number. You can start sewing.

Needle position adjustment at the top and bottom. You don't have to rely solely on the machine's movement; if the needle is in a position that doesn't suit you, simply move it yourself.
