Paul Kalkbrenner, born on June 11, 1977, is a German electronic music producer and live performer. Renowned for reconstructing his tracks onstage, he is best known for the hit single Sky and Sand, which achieved platinum status and charted highly in Germany and Belgium. Kalkbrenner also starred as Ickarus in the acclaimed film Berlin Calling, a role that brought him further recognition in the electronic music scene.
