Patrick Doyle, born in 1953, is a renowned Scottish composer celebrated for his film scores. Over a career spanning five decades, he has written music for more than 60 films, frequently collaborating with director Kenneth Branagh on titles such as Henry V, Hamlet, Cinderella, and Murder on the Orient Express. His work also includes scores for Sense and Sensibility, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor, Brave, and Gosford Park. Doyle’s compositions have accompanied films by directors like Robert Altman, Ang Lee, Alfonso Cuarón, Brian De Palma, and more.
