• 3 Distinctive High-Gain Amp Models:Select your desired amp model using the 3-way toggle switch.
  • Duo Rect: Based on the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, this model captures the familiar '90s American metal sound, reminiscent of countless classic records from metal to punk to grunge (e.g., Metallica, Tool, Korn, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Blink 182).
  • Fireman: Inspired by the Friedman BE-100, known for defining the signature tones of rock icons like Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens, and Jerry Cantrell. It embodies the epitome of British tone.
  • VH4: Modeled after the Diezel Amp of the same name, which revolutionized the industry with its 4-channel and individual inserts design. This model offers a wide range of thick, articulate, and "meaty" sounds, beloved by many players and widely used in recording studios globally.
• Ampless & Impulse Responses (IRs): Impulse Responses are crucial for ampless setups, providing the necessary cabinet sound to complete your tone. Each included amp model on the METAL CORE DELUXE MKII has a matching IR. You can also load your own favorite 3rd party IRs via the MetalCore editing software (supports 512 samples resolution, WAV format auto-conversion). The pedal offers 5 user slots (4-8) for custom IRs.
• USB-C Connectivity: The USB-C port is used for firmware updates and connecting to the MetalCore editing software. To update the pedal, connect a USB cable to your PC and hold the footswitch to boot the device into DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode.
• MetalCore Editing Software: This dedicated software allows you to tweak parameters and load 3rd party IRs, enabling you to customize your tone. Simply connect the pedal to your PC via USB and open the software.
• EFX Mobile APP with OTG Connection: For on-the-go editing without a computer, use the EFX Mobile APP. For iOS devices, a Lightning to USB adaptor is required. For Android, while some Type-C to Type-C connections may work, using an OTG adaptor ensures proper functionality with most Android systems.
• Footswitch & FS Indicator (Engage/Disengage IR): You can engage or disengage the IR function directly from the pedal. With the pedal not connected via USB, hold the footswitch while plugging in the power supply to boot up the pedal. If the LED indicator flashes GREEN 3 times, the IR is engaged. If it flashes RED 3 times, the IR is disengaged (Normal).
