The Lundgren The Anomaly 8 is the 8-string incarnation of Per Nilsson's signature humbucker series, pushing the AlNiCo 5 design into the most extreme extended range available. Built to handle the unique challenges of 8-string playing — including maintaining note definition and tightness on the lowest two strings — this pickup delivers Per's characteristic tonal balance even in the most technically demanding progressive and metal contexts.

At the core of every Anomaly pickup sits a powerful AlNiCo 5 magnet paired with Lundgren's proprietary threaded polepiece holder — a construction that allows ultra-precise string-to-string balance adjustment and contributes to the pickup's characteristic clarity and dynamic response.
