Lily Rose Beatrice Allen, born in 1985, is an English singer, songwriter, and actress known for her sharp lyricism and candid pop style. Rising to fame with her 2006 debut single "Smile," which topped the UK Singles Chart, she quickly became a prominent figure in British pop music. Her debut album, Alright, Still, achieved critical and commercial success, earning a Grammy nomination and multi-platinum sales. Allen's follow-up albums, including It's Not Me, It's You and Sheezus, also reached number one in the UK and featured popular singles like "The Fear." Beyond music, she has hosted a BBC talk show, published a memoir, and acted in film and theatre, receiving a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for her West End debut. She is the daughter of actor Keith Allen and producer Alison Owen.
