The Dove is richly and iconically ornamented. The body features multi-ply top and back binding. The dove-shaped rosewood bridge plate has two mother-of-pearl dove inlays. It is equipped with a compensated bone saddle, and both the nut and bridge pins are also made of bone.

The iconic Dove pickguard features a mother-of-pearl dove. On the headstock, Kluson® Waffleback tuners with metal Keystone buttons help ensure solid tuning stability. The headstock features a two-ply white and black truss rod cover engraved with “DOVE,” and the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown are inlaid in aged mother-of-pearl. It features a Gibson-style “open book” profile, with the Inspired by Gibson Custom double diamond logo etched on the rear.
