After extensive live and studio tests, custom-wound bobbins and Alnico 2 magnets were selected. What results is a responsive touch and clarity reminiscent of active pickups, combined with classic PAF-style warmth and give. The kit uses EMG’s exclusive solderless install system for easy installation.
