Eivør Pálsdóttir, known simply as Eivør, is a Faroese singer-songwriter and actress from Syðrugøta. Beginning her career with a televised performance at age 13, she has since become known for her expressive voice and for blending genres like folk, art pop, jazz, folk rock, classical, and electronica. Eivør is also the older sister of singer Elinborg.
