Edifier GS02

The Edifier GS01 and GS02 are gaming-oriented sound cards that are made easy to set up and cross-platform compatible. Both the GS01 and the GS02 can provide the same experience throughout different platforms, whether it is a PC or a PS4. The user would have to just plug in the sound card and the sound card sorts itself. The main difference between the GS01 and GS02 is the sound processors in the cards themselves. The GS01 comes with C Media HS100B, an all-in-one sound processor complete with features such as stereo DAC, an earphone driver, and a microphone pre-amp booster. On the other hand, the GS02 is equipped with a professional-grade sound processor, the C Media CM108. Unlike the prior, the CM108 comes with dual DAC units, an earphone amplifier, a data loss noise reduction function, and a 48k/44.1 sampling rate for both playback and recording. Users could also enjoy 7.1 superior surround sound as the GS02 supports it. Both the GS01 and GS02 come equipped with a TRRS audio jack to streamline the audio port on the devices, thus eliminating the need for multiple audio jacks and better compatibility with newer earphone setups. The GS01 and GS02 can deliver clear audio signal and receive voice recording from the microphone without the need for a messy wiring setup. Besides that, both sound cards have a physical microphone switch and volume knot which provide on-the-fly controls.
