Joseph David Keery, born in 1992, is an American actor and musician best known for his role as Steve Harrington in Stranger Things. As a musician, he performs under the name Djo and was a member of the psychedelic rock band Post Animal. After leaving the band, he released solo albums Twenty Twenty and Decide, with the song End of Beginning becoming a viral hit in 2024. Djo's third album, The Crux, came out in 2025. Keery rejoined Post Animal the same year, and the band released IRON in July 2025.
