The Alpha·Omega 500  A 500W amplifier equipped with:

• An all-analog preamplifier
• Two distinct distortion circuits (Alpha and Omega)
• A custom-designed Darkglass high-efficiency class D Module
• An ultra-quiet graphic equalizer
• A digital impulse-response cabinet emulator for DI outputs or headphones

Main Functions

Passive/Active  Use this push-button switch to toggle between passive and active modes. If your bass is active, it may produce a hotter signal, causing the amp to distort early (use this feature if such additional distortion is desired).
Distortion  This push-button activates or deactivates the Alpha·Omega Engine™, adding natural compression, organic harmonic enhancement, and saturation—ranging from mild overdrive to powerful high-gain bass. The Alpha·Omega Engine operates before the clean section, allowing further tone shaping with the 6-Band Active EQ.
Bite  Enhances high mids (2.8 kHz) for improved presence and definition.
Growl  A shelving Bass Boost that delivers a fatter tone with enhanced low-end saturation.
Compression  Adjusts the level of dynamic compression applied to the Alpha·Omega Engine. The makeup gain is automatically managed. Compression can be disabled or customized using the Darkglass Suite.
Drive  Regulates the intensity of distortion generated by the Alpha·Omega Engine, offering a range from subtle, warm overdrive to bold, modern distortion sounds.
Blend  Balances the mix between the Clean signal and the Distortion signal (Alpha·Omega Engine).
Mod  Chooses or blends between two unique distortion circuits:

• Alpha: Tight, punchy, and rich in definition
• Omega: Raw, brutal, and aggressive
