DJ BoBo, born Peter René Baumann on January 5, 1968, is a Swiss singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and music producer. Known for his energetic Eurodance style, he achieved international fame with hits like Somebody Dance with Me, Keep on Dancing, Take Control, and Chihuahua. Since the early 1990s, he has released 12 studio albums and over 30 singles, selling around 14 million records worldwide. His chart success extends across Europe and beyond, earning him multiple Gold and Platinum awards, as well as ten World Music Awards as Switzerland’s best-selling artist.
