Charles William Prophet, born June 28, 1963, is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer from California. He first made his mark with the psychedelic and desert rock band Green on Red during the 1980s. Later, Prophet established himself as a respected solo artist, known for his distinctive songwriting and guitar work.
