Paul’s music blended classic soul, pop, and funk, with his 1973 album War of the Gods showcasing experimental electronic and psychedelic influences. Renowned for his versatile vocal style, he was celebrated as a socially conscious artist alongside icons like Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder.
