The Sonoris Multiband Compressor is a highly versatile three-band compressor available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats for both Windows and Mac. This ultra-clean processor is ideal for handling delicate audio material.

Three Independent Frequency Bands

This compressor features three independent frequency bands, each equipped with a compressor derived from the Sonoris Mastering Compressor. The bands utilize meticulously designed Linkwitz-Riley crossover filters, ensuring minimal phase cancellation and delivering a natural, analog-like quality. The design allows for a flat mix and efficient usage, with the option to operate the crossover filter in linear phase mode, preserving the wave shape while introducing a slight delay.

Targeted Processing

In addition to processing full mixes, each filter band can be applied to the Left, Right, Mid, or Side channels, or any combination thereof, thanks to the variable link feature. This capability transforms the Sonoris Multiband Compressor into a powerful tool for addressing specific issues within a mix, such as controlling bass in the Mid channel or managing a snare hit in the Left channel at 3 kHz, all while maintaining the overall integrity of the mix.
