Scott Walker, born Noel Scott Engel, was an American-British singer-songwriter and producer known for his powerful baritone and ever-evolving musical style. He first gained fame in the 1960s as part of the Walker Brothers, whose dramatic pop hits made a lasting impact in the UK. Walker then launched a solo career, releasing a string of acclaimed albums that blended lush orchestration with introspective songwriting.
