Rhodes Vari-Amp is a first-of-its-kind character plugin from Rhodes, designed for keyboardists, guitarists, producers, and instrumentalists who crave warmth, soul, and authentic analogue colour. At its core lies a dual-module architecture featuring six iconic Rhodes preamps and a curated selection of eight classic and modern amplifiers paired with eight microphone choices.

Each preamp circuit is faithfully modelled from classic Rhodes pianos — from the MK1 '79 Suitcase through Hot Rodded preamp to MK8. The three-mode Drive circuit, based on the MK8 preamp, delivers everything from subtle warmth to expressive dynamic distortion with a continuously variable wet/dry mix. The Amp/Mic section features legendary amplifiers including the Duo, 8015 Combo, L5, Rhodes Suitcase Cabinet (1979), Rhodes Satellite, ACT PA, and EXPR Combo.

Vari-Amp's versatile compressor provides precise dynamic control, and the global EQ and Reverb module complete the signal chain. Independent preamp and amp/mic sections each feature their own dry/wet blend, enabling limitless tonal combinations from refined harmonic depth to bold saturated presence.
