Randon RGI-10VT-CE guitarra eletroacústica

Electroacoustic Dreadnought Guitar for Stage and Studio

The Randon RGI-10VT-CE is a stage-ready electroacoustic dreadnought guitar built for players who want full acoustic projection and reliable amplified tone from a single instrument. A four-piece solid spruce top drives the soundboard response, while mahogany back and sides round out the voice with warmth and midrange focus. The dreadnought body shape delivers the volume flatpickers and strummers rely on, and the cutaway opens up clean access to the upper frets for lead lines and percussive fingerstyle work.

What Sets This Randon Apart

Built around a four-piece solid spruce top, this guitar offers a responsive soundboard, paired with an acacia fingerboard and bridge and a mahogany neck. Out of the box, the Fishman ISY-301 preamp system adds an on-board tuner, tone controls, and a phase switch, so the instrument is ready to plug into a PA without extra gear.

Body Construction and Tonewoods — Solid Top Acoustic Voice

The solid spruce top is the engine of this dreadnought's acoustic voice, and pairing it with mahogany back and sides produces the warm, balanced character that has defined flat-top guitars for decades. The vintage satin open-pore finish keeps the top free to vibrate without the dampening effect of thick gloss lacquer.

• Top: Solid spruce (four-piece) — stiff, articulate soundboard that opens up with playing
• Back and Sides: Mahogany — warm midrange focus and woody low end
• Finish: Vintage satin open pore — thin coating that lets the top breathe
• Cutaway for clean upper-fret access during lead lines and percussive fingerstyle work

Neck and Playability — Familiar Feel for Fingerstyle and Strumming

A mahogany neck paired with an acacia fingerboard keeps the playing surface stable and smooth, while the 43 mm nut width and 650 mm scale length fall in the comfort zone for most acoustic players.

• Neck: Mahogany — stable, comfortable profile with classic acoustic feel
• Fingerboard and Bridge: Acacia — bright, dense tonewood with clean attack
• Scale Length: 650 mm — standard dreadnought tension and voicing
• Nut Width: 43 mm — comfortable spacing for strumming and fingerpicking alike

Electronics and Hardware — Ready for the Stage

The Fishman ISY-301 pickup system turns this dreadnought into a plug-and-play electroacoustic, with a tuner, tone controls, and phase switch built into the preamp. Diecast nickel-plated tuners hold tuning under heavy strumming, and D'Addario EXP 16 coated strings ship from the factory for longer tone life.

• Preamp: Fishman ISY-301 — on-board tuner, volume, tone controls and phase switch
• Tuning Machines: Diecast, nickel plated — stable tuning under aggressive playing
• Strings: D'Addario EXP 16 — coated for extended brightness and longer life
• PPS nut and saddle for consistent string action and break angle

Who This Guitar Is For

The Randon RGI-10VT-CE is the right choice for singer-songwriters, flatpickers, and intermediate acoustic players who need a stage-ready dreadnought with a solid top and reliable electronics. The cutaway and Fishman preamp make it practical for solo performers switching between rhythm strumming and lead lines, while the familiar 43 mm nut and 650 mm scale keep the feel approachable for players moving up from a beginner instrument. Studio players will appreciate the pickup's clean output for direct recording.

About Randon Guitars

Randon is a guitar maker that pairs classic tonewoods like spruce and mahogany with less common choices such as acacia. The brand focuses on instruments that combine distinctive visual design with thoughtful construction, and this model reflects that approach with its four-piece solid spruce top, acacia appointments, and Fishman electronics in a dreadnought cutaway package.
