The L.R. Baggs Element Active System Classical is designed for classical and nylon-string guitars, employing an undersaddle piezo pickup system. Instead of directly compressing the strings, its patented flexible film sensor measures the soundboard's motion. This approach avoids the compressed "quack" found in most undersaddle pickups and delivers a natural, dynamic amplified sound that preserves the nylon string's unique character. A pre-wired, all-discrete Class A endpin preamp is included for immediate stage readiness.
