The new generation pedal tuner with the new ULTRA BUFFER function is even more powerful and easier to use.

Not only does the Pitchblack X feature true bypass to output sound exactly as it was inserted, it now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER Why is this important?
Most electric guitars use passive pickups with high output impedance. When using a cable, there is a loss of tone after about 6m, usually the high frequencies, and this problem gets worse the longer your cable is.
ULTRA BUFFER boosts sound quality in bypass mode, so you can maintain sound quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner or inserting the tuner into a complex effects board. On the Pitchblack X you can switch between true bypass and ULTRA BUFFER according to your taste and the environment in which you play.

In addition to the enlarged display, more meter LEDs have been added for better visibility.
The brightness mode can be set to one of two levels, so you can be sure to see the tuners on the display even better in situations where visibility is difficult, such as on brightly lit stages and in bright outdoor environments.

The Pitchblack X tuner offers very accurate and precise tuning with an accuracy of ±0.1 cent in Strobe mode, making it ideal for situations where the tuning must be absolutely correct, whether performing or recording.

Choose one of the four types of meter display according to your requirements.
In addition to the typical "Regular" mode, you can use the "Strobe" and "Half Strobe" modes, which indicate changes in pitch according to the direction and speed at which the meter "flows", so that you can distinguish even the most subtle differences in pitch; and you can use "Mirror" mode to see the two LEDs on the left and right sides crossing towards the center when tuning the instrument.

The Pitchblack X is equipped with a new "just-right tuning" display feature, which makes triangular LEDs on both sides flash when the tuning is correct, aiding stress-free tuning.

The Pitchblack X tuner is housed in a robust aluminum case with a strong scratch-resistant finish. It runs on 9V batteries, which is ideal for players who don't carry an effects board with them, and an optional mains adapter is available if needed.
