The Official Prophet~5

In a groundbreaking collaboration with GForce Software, Sequential has introduced the first-ever official Prophet~5 plugin. This software captures the sound, feel, and character of the original instrument, merging Sequential’s legacy in analogue synthesis with GForce's expertise in crafting authentic virtual instruments.

Featuring the Rev1, Rev2, and Rev3 character models, the Prophet~5 delivers the rich tone, responsive playability, and musicality that made the original so desirable, from the warmth of the SSM designs to the punchy presence of the Curtis filter. All original hardware functionalities are preserved, granting access to the tones, behaviors, and performance characteristics that established the Prophet~5 as a staple in some of the greatest recordings of all time.

The plugin includes the original 38 factory presets from 1978, along with an extensive, professionally designed modern library of over 420 patches.

Original Spirit, New Expression

While honoring the essence of the original, the Prophet~5 introduces powerful modern enhancements that provide producers and sound designers with innovative ways to shape movement, expression, and performance.

At the core of this expanded instrument is GForce’s newly redesigned X-Modifiers section. Nearly every parameter features its own dedicated envelope and LFO, allowing sounds to evolve while maintaining the immediacy and tone of the original hardware.

The Prophet~5 also boasts two independent layers with Layer, Split, and Alternate modes, enabling users to combine sounds, divide them across the keyboard, or alternate between them during play. Each layer includes its own arpeggiator and chord mode, facilitating the creation of rich textures, keyboard splits, and rhythmic contrasts within a single instance.

For enhanced control, comprehensive MIDI CC mapping and full MPE compatibility allow compatible controllers to access detailed pitch, pressure, and timbral expression.

To complete the experience, the Prophet~5 includes a suite of premium studio effects, such as chorus, phaser, multimode filtering, tremolo, compression, stereo delay, and reverb, all with extensive modulation possibilities.
