Fender Player Fusion Stratocaster HSS EB Olympic Pearl Guitarra elétrica

The Fender Player Fusion Stratocaster HSS EB Olympic Pearl is a limited edition Strat built for heavier playing without giving up classic Stratocaster versatility. A Player II Modified humbucker in the bridge delivers tight, high-output drive, while two Player II Noiseless single coils keep the neck and middle positions clear and hum-free. The bolt-on Thin "C" maple neck with a 12" ebony fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets makes fast leads and wide bends effortless, and a push-pull coil split on the tone control opens up single-coil voicings from the bridge humbucker. Black hardware, locking tuners, locking strap buttons and a deluxe gig bag complete the package.

  • Alder body in gloss Olympic Pearl with a 4-ply white pearloid pickguard and all-black hardware
  • Bolt-on Thin "C" maple neck with satin urethane finish and a 12" (305 mm) ebony fingerboard
  • Player II Modified bridge humbucker plus two Player II Noiseless Strat single coils, 5-way blade and push-pull coil split
  • 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles, deluxe locking tuners and locking strap buttons

Fender Player Fusion Stratocaster HSS EB Olympic Pearl — Classic Platform, Modern Output

The Fender Player Fusion Stratocaster HSS EB Olympic Pearl is a limited edition electric guitar that keeps everything players expect from a Stratocaster — the contoured alder body, the 25.5" scale, the 5-way switching — and reworks the details for modern, higher-gain playing. A Player II Modified humbucker in the bridge, two Player II Noiseless single coils, a flat 12" ebony fingerboard and fully blacked-out hardware turn a familiar instrument into something that holds its own in rock and metal.

The gloss Olympic Pearl finish over alder is paired with a 4-ply white pearloid pickguard and black hardware for a clean, high-contrast look, and the bolt-on Thin "C" maple neck with a satin urethane finish stays fast through long sets. Deluxe locking tuners, a synthetic bone nut and a 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles keep the tuning stable, and locking strap buttons keep the guitar secure on stage. It is built at Fender's Ensenada plant in Mexico and ships in a deluxe gig bag.

What Sets the Player Fusion Stratocaster HSS Apart

Two things make this Strat different. First, the pickup set: the Player II Modified bridge humbucker is voiced with a tight low end and controlled mids so it stays articulate under heavy distortion and in front of digital modellers, while the Player II Noiseless single coils preserve genuine Strat character in positions 2 to 5 without the hum that plagues traditional single-coil pickups on high-gain settings. Second, the push-pull coil split on the master tone control, which splits the bridge humbucker to a single coil — so one instrument covers modern rhythm tones, classic Strat cleans and everything in between.

Alder Body and Thin "C" Maple Neck — Familiar Comfort, Faster Feel

The Stratocaster body shape is unchanged where it matters: the forearm contour and belly cut still make this one of the most comfortable solidbody guitars to play sitting or standing. Alder gives the balanced, mid-forward voice that has defined the Strat for decades, and the gloss polyester finish is hard enough to survive constant gigging. The bolt-on maple neck uses a 4-bolt asymmetrical plate for easy adjustment, and the satin urethane finish on the back of the neck removes the sticky feel that gloss necks develop under stage lights.

  • Body Material: Alder — balanced, mid-forward tonewood that keeps note definition under gain
  • Body Finish: Gloss Polyester — durable finish that protects the Olympic Pearl colour on the road
  • Neck Material: Maple, Bolt-On — bright, stiff neck stock on a serviceable 4-bolt asymmetrical joint
  • Neck Profile: Thin "C" with Satin Urethane Finish — slim, low-friction profile for fast playing over long sets

12" Ebony Fingerboard and 22 Jumbo Frets — Built for Lead Work

The fingerboard is the clearest departure from a standard Strat. Ebony is denser and smoother than the rosewood or maple normally found here, giving a crisp attack and a fast surface under the fingers, and the flat 12" radius allows a genuinely low action without notes choking out on wide bends. White pearloid dot inlays keep the position markers visible against the dark board, and the 22 jumbo frets let you fret with less pressure and control bends more precisely.

  • Fingerboard Material: Ebony — dense, smooth, oil-free surface with a crisp attack
  • Fingerboard Radius: 12" (305 mm) — flat enough for low action and wide bends without fretting out
  • Frets: 22 Jumbo — tall fretwire for lighter fretting pressure and controlled bending
  • Scale Length: 648 mm (25.5") — standard Fender scale for a tight low end and familiar string tension
  • String Nut: Synthetic Bone, 42.8 mm (1.685") — consistent, low-friction slots that help the tremolo return to pitch

HSS Pickups, Coil Split and 2-Point Tremolo — Range and Stability

The HSS layout is what makes this guitar cover so much ground. The bridge humbucker handles palm-muted riffing and cutting leads without turning muddy, the middle and neck Noiseless single coils deliver the glassy, bell-like Strat voice with none of the 50 Hz buzz, and positions 2 and 4 keep the quack that makes a Stratocaster instantly recognisable. Pull up the tone knob and the bridge humbucker splits to a single coil, adding a brighter, thinner voice for clean rhythm parts. Underneath, the 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles pivots smoothly and returns to pitch reliably, backed by deluxe locking tuners with short posts.

  • Bridge Pickup: Player II Modified Humbucker — high-output, tight low end and controlled mids for heavy rhythm and lead work
  • Middle and Neck Pickups: Player II Noiseless Strat — classic Strat clarity without single-coil hum
  • Switching: 5-Position Blade, Master Volume, Master Tone with Push/Pull Coil Split — full HSS range plus a split bridge humbucker
  • Bridge: 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Block Saddles — smooth vibrato travel and reliable return to pitch
  • Tuning Machines: Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking (Short Posts) — fast string changes and rock-solid tuning under heavy use

Who Should Play the Player Fusion Stratocaster HSS

This Stratocaster suits players who need one guitar to cover a whole set. Rock and metal players get a bridge humbucker with enough output and enough midrange control to sit properly in a heavy mix, while cover and function players get authentic Strat cleans from the Noiseless single coils and the in-between positions. The coil split adds a fifth voice on top of that, which makes the guitar particularly useful for session and worship players who switch styles between songs.

It is also a sensible upgrade for anyone moving off a first Strat. The ebony board, jumbo frets and flat 12" radius make lead playing noticeably easier than on a vintage-spec 9.5" board, the locking tuners and block-saddle tremolo remove most day-to-day tuning frustration, and the black hardware with locking strap buttons is built for the realities of gigging rather than for a display wall.
