Duke A-MC Solid Guitarra jumbo

All-Solid Auditorium Acoustic with Cedar Top and Mahogany Body

The Duke A-MC Solid is a premium all-solid auditorium acoustic guitar designed for advanced players who want a responsive instrument with the warmth and projection of solid tonewoods. Built around a solid Canadian cedar top and solid mahogany back and sides, this right-handed model pairs traditional luthier choices with a clean, understated aesthetic. The auditorium body shape delivers a balanced voice that sits comfortably between the focused punch of a dreadnought and the delicate articulation of a smaller parlor, making the A-MC Solid a natural fit for fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and serious strummers alike.

What Sets the A-MC Solid Apart

What makes this guitar stand out in its category is the combination of a solid cedar soundboard with a solid mahogany body — a pairing prized for its warm, woody character and dynamic headroom. The high-gloss finish protects the tonewoods while letting the natural grain of the cedar and mahogany show through, and the Spanish cedar neck adds a touch of stability and resonance that complements the body woods. Every Duke A-MC Solid is hand-set up by a professional in Tübingen, Germany, so the guitar arrives with comfortable playability and accurate intonation straight out of the case.

Tonewoods and Construction — Why Solid Wood Matters

Solid tonewoods vibrate as a single piece, which is why they respond more openly and age more gracefully than laminated alternatives. The cedar top on this model is known for its immediate response and warm, complex overtones, while the mahogany back and sides tighten the low end and add a focused midrange that cuts through a mix without sounding harsh.

• Top Material: Solid Canadian Cedar — immediate response, warm overtones, ideal for fingerstyle and light-to-medium strumming
• Back & Sides: Solid Mahogany — woody midrange focus with balanced projection across the register
• Construction: Solid Top — full-solid build that opens up and matures with playing time

Neck and Playability — Built for Advanced Technique

A comfortable neck profile and a smooth ebony fretboard are essential for any player working on advanced material, and the A-MC Solid is set up to deliver both. The Spanish cedar neck offers a stable, lightweight feel that suits long playing sessions, while the ebony fingerboard provides a dense, articulate surface under the fingertips.

• Neck Material: Spanish Cedar — light, stable, and resonant, with a feel that suits both flatpickers and fingerstylists
• Fretboard Material: Ebony — smooth, dense, and articulate, with crisp note definition
• Fingerboard Width: 46 mm at the nut — comfortable for most adult hands
• Scale Length: 630 mm — comfortable string tension that supports both chord work and lead playing

Body, Finish, and Setup — Ready to Play Out of the Box

The auditorium body shape gives the A-MC Solid a versatile voice that works across genres, while the high-gloss finish seals the tonewoods and gives the guitar a polished, stage-ready look. Without a cutaway, the design stays focused on acoustic purity rather than upper-fret access, which suits players who prioritise tone and traditional aesthetics.

• Body Type: Auditorium — balanced response between bass depth and treble clarity
• Cutaway: No — traditional body lines, full upper-bout resonance
• Finish: High Gloss — protective, refined, and visually striking
• Dexterity: Right-Handed
• Skill Level: Advanced

Who Is the Duke A-MC Solid For

The Duke A-MC Solid is the right choice for advanced players who want an all-solid auditorium acoustic with the warm response of a cedar top and the focused midrange of a mahogany body. Fingerstyle players will appreciate the cedar top's immediate response and the ebony fretboard's crisp note definition, while singer-songwriters will value the auditorium shape's balanced projection that supports both vocals and lead lines. The Spanish cedar neck and 46 mm nut width make it comfortable for players tackling complex chord voicings and extended-position lead work, and the lack of a cutaway keeps the design focused on pure acoustic tone. Players who want a guitar that arrives properly set up and ready to perform will benefit from the professional setup performed in Germany before shipping.
