Down is a heavy metal supergroup from New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in 1991. The band features Phil Anselmo on vocals, Jimmy Bower on drums, Pepper Keenan and Kirk Windstein on guitars, and Pat Bruders on bass. Known for their powerful blend of Southern metal and sludge influences, Down has released five studio albums, including the acclaimed debut NOLA, and two EPs.
