The Boss SL-2 Slicer brings the legendary BOSS Slicer effect into a compact pedal, chopping any signal into rhythmic percussive patterns that animate sustained tones. Modern DSP drives the engine further than the legacy SL-20, with single and dual Slicer paths processed through internal filters and pitch-shifting effects.

This model pairs a 24-bit AF-method ADC with a 32-bit DAC at 48 kHz, then routes chopped audio through seven stereo output modes including 3D Cross and 3D Rotation. The pedal switch doubles as tap-tempo, and the CTL/EXP jack accepts an expression pedal or dual footswitch.
