With two cardioid capsules arranged in a coincident 90° configuration and support for both phantom power and AA battery operation, the BP4025 is a self-contained stereo solution for broadcast, documentary, and nature recording without AC power dependency.

Coincident X/Y Stereo Design

The true coincident capsule placement of the BP4025 places both cardioid elements at the same physical point, eliminating inter-channel time delay and producing a naturally phase-coherent stereo image that translates consistently across different playback formats. When mixed to mono, the X/Y output combines without comb filtering artifacts, making the BP4025 suitable for broadcast applications where mono downmix compatibility is required.

Phantom and Battery Power

The BP4025 accepts 48V phantom power when available and switches automatically to a single AA battery for location use without mixer phantom. This dual-power capability makes it a reliable option for solo field recording, broadcast news gathering, and wildlife sound work in remote environments.

Dual XLR and Wind Protection

Balanced dual XLR outputs connect the left and right channels to two-channel recorders, portable mixers, and camera audio systems.
