Ultra-elegant, ultra-safe. The uvex ultra helmet occupies a class of its own. Its hybrid construction combines the best of two worlds – technology and design. The glossy in-mould shell is ultralight while the matt hardshell guarantees ultimate style and impact resistance. An actively adjustable ventilation system, the functional lining and the IAS fitting system ensure maximum comfort at all times.
Closable vents ensure perfect ventilation of the head. The inner anti-allergic lining is removable and can be washed. Thanks to the monomatic system, fastening the helmet straps at the push of a button is simple, fast and safe. With the IAS fit system, you can adjust the size of the helmet so it holds firmly and comfortably on your head.
Hybrid: Hybrid technology combines inmould and hardshell technology. The helmet consists of a hard outer shell (ABS) and an inner EPS layer. An effective safety combination makes the helmet resistant to external impacts and the inner layer absorbs them. The outer lower edge is protected by a polycarbonate layer (PC).
IAS: The sophisticated IAS system provides optimum helmet size adjustment to different head sizes and shapes by simply turning the adjusting wheel. The space inside the helmet adapts to the perimeter of the head.
Headband holder: The uvex helmets provide greater comfort even in the smallest detail: the integrated spectacle holder ensures a firm hold of the helmet in any situation.
Removable lining: The uvex lining absorbs excess moisture, is antiallergenic and easily removable for cleaning.
Vent system: Specially designed ventilation ducts draw in fresh air and dissipate warm air. This prevents unpleasant heat build-up inside the helmet.
FAS: FAS is a fast adaptation system that forms a network of straps anchored inside the helmet. Allows a harder and more secure hold of the helmet on the head.
Monomatic: Monomatic allows you to comfortably and quickly fasten or unclip the helmet strap with a simple push of a button with one hand.
PC: Polycarbonate - outer material of the helmet shell. It is used in inmould helmet technology: the EPS layer injected directly into the PC outer shell of the helmet forms a solid unit, solid and resistant to point impacts. PC's material is tough and tough, highly resistant to rupture. ABS: Helmet shell outer material. ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) is a relatively new, extremely strong and tough plastic with high resistance to pressure impacts, crack propagation and abrasion even at low temperatures. Good resistance to atmospheric influences and UV radiation. Its low thermal conductivity (no insulation required) makes it suitable for use in cold conditions. EPS: Inner material helmet. The EPS protective material contains microscopic air chambers that effectively absorb impact forces when dropped. The EPS layer is injected directly into the outer shell of the helmet. A monolithic unit is formed which protects the head from impact and dampens it.
