Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known as Tinashe, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, she moved to California as a child and began her career in entertainment with roles in The Polar Express, Out of Jimmy's Head, and Two and a Half Men. She gained early musical experience as part of the girl group the Stunners before launching her solo career with acclaimed alternative R and B mixtapes In Case We Die, Reverie, and Black Water. Tinashe broke into the mainstream with her hit single 2 On and debut album Aquarius in 2014. She has since collaborated with artists like Schoolboy Q, Chance the Rapper, Snakehips, and Britney Spears, and released a series of praised studio albums including Nightride, Joyride, Songs for You, 333, and BB Ang3l. In 2024, her single Nasty brought her back to the Billboard Hot 100 and preceded her seventh album, Quantum Baby. Known for her creativity, genre-blending style, and independent spirit, Tinashe continues to influence modern R and B and pop music.
