Fully digital amplifier, JENO Engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimisation)
The SA-C100 uses a fully digital amplifier incorporating Technics’ renowned digital audio technology. The digital transmission system processes the signal in all stages, from input to output, fully digitally. Compared to analogue transmission, this system is less susceptible to signal degradation caused by external noise, ensuring more accurate signal transmission. The precise signal processing not only delivers high-resolution digital sound, but also preserves the fine structure inherent in analogue recordings.
Dual Power Supply Circuit System
The power supply design of audio systems containing CD players, amplifiers, digital circuits and other similar components is extremely important. The SA-C100 features a separate power supply for the amplifier circuits, which is independent of all other circuits and powers two independent transformers to eliminate adverse effects on the amplifier. The wiring between the two separate transformers and the amplifier circuits is also optimized for noise reduction.
Clean Power Clock Generator
The power supply for the JENO Engine clock circuit uses the same noise suppression circuit used in the flagship Technics SL-1000R turntable to improve noise reduction. It achieves excellent sound image localization and transparent spatial expression.
Built-in PHONO equalizer compatible with MM cartridge
The built-in PHONO equalizer supports MM cartridges. The PHONO equalizer uses a separate power supply and is equipped with a power supply circuit that is different from the control circuit for better noise reduction. The equalizer circuit also has a shielded design that eliminates the influence of external noise and allows the signal to be amplified without loss of fidelity.
Space Tune™
The SA-C100 is equipped with the Space Tune function, which allows the sound to be adjusted to suit the environment and location of the unit. This allows everyone to enjoy great music reproduction. Using the Technics Audio Centre* app for tablets and smartphones or by selecting one of four presets on the main unit – Freestanding, Wall, Corner and Shelf – the user can achieve the most suitable sound reproduction for a specific acoustic environment.
The L/R Custom Setting function allows users to specify individual settings for each speaker, adapting to installation under different conditions and providing the best sound quality in any environment.
