The Solid State Logic UMD192 is a powerful professional digital audio interface designed for demanding studio, live sound, broadcast, and post-production applications. UMD192 functions both as a 192-channel USB 3.0 audio interface and as a versatile format bridge between MADI, Dante, and USB. Any two formats can be routed bidirectionally while the third receives a split feed, allowing seamless integration into complex audio systems and large-scale recording or playback setups.

The interface supports up to 192 channels at 48 kHz or 96 kHz, and up to 128 channels at 192 kHz. Dante AoIP support includes AES67 and ST 2110 compatibility with ultra-low latency performance. Six MADI BNC port pairs can be configured for redundancy, ensuring maximum reliability in mission-critical live and broadcast environments.

Multiple powering options are available, including AC mains, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and USB, with redundancy support. Clear front-panel indicators provide instant feedback on signal flow, sync status, network activity, and power, while lockable controls prevent accidental changes.
