Developing quieter V-Drums required extensive testing and new sound-control techniques. The VQD106 kit achieves up to 75% less noise than standard V-Drums. Its kick and hi-hat operate with near-silent smoothness, while stick hits produce room levels comparable to normal conversation.

Ultra-Responsive Snare and Tom Pads

The PDQ-8S snare and PDQ-8 tom pads combine authentic feel with low acoustic output. Each pad uses a honeycomb rubber insert and mesh head for dynamic response and reduced impact noise. Venting beneath the surface releases air pressure, and the PDQ-8S offers independent head/rim triggering with a quiet rubber rim for rimshots.

Articulate Cymbal Pads with Natural Motion

Three CYQ-12 cymbal pads feature the same honeycomb rubber, mesh covering, and venting system for silent play. Noise-Isolating Stand and Pedal Bases

The custom stand and pedal bases further isolate mechanical noise. Hemispherical rubber feet prevent pad vibration transfer, while dedicated NEQ-K and NEQ-H pedal bases contain foot impact.
