It works for the purpose I got it - learning how to play keys and some amateur recording for fun. I think 49 keys is the minimal and sufficient amount of keys actually good to learn anything. Its well build, looks and feels definitely better than in all the reviews I watched. Nothing to say about durability yet, I just got it. It would be nice if there was a MIDI port to really assure a LEGENDARY status and extend the usability for all the beginners out there, who want to try out afordable and decent keyboards. There are 2 or 3 DAW "presets" hidden under the "Advanced" button. I made the transports work in FL. If any M-AUDIO people are reading this, you could make the control buttons a different color, or add LEDs. They are practically invisible in some situations. But if it will tripple the price, please stay away from it and don't touch anything!
