Yet, the jacket still has all the necessary features for carefree days spent on the piste: The slightly stretchy surface fabric is fully water and windproof and all seams have been taped to ensure moisture has no way of entering the jacket. There is a snow lock on the hem held in place by a silicone strip, and there are ribbed inner cuffs with thumb holes to protect the wrists. Warmth is provided by the warm padding and detachable hood, and if your hands get cold, you can warm them up in the softly lined front pockets.
