After many rounds of prototyping, the Advanced Auditorium body has a slightly wider waist, which has been moved slightly towards the neck. Thanks to these changes, this shape delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack. Ibanez developed its proprietary X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to produce the ultimate sound for the stage and studio. Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end. Sapele back and sides offer a full-bodied and warm mid-range and a bright tone. The Low Oval Okoume neck grip facilitates easy chord strumming. The Purpleheart fretboard emphasizes the beauty and the rich tonal character of this guitar. The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides the extra punch of on-board EQ along with a convenient and easy-to-read digital tuner and 2-band EQ, located on the instrument’s upper bout.
