Gabel Ibex Carbon 105 - 120 cm

The IBEX is one of Gabel's Tech line poles for mountaineering and trekking in all seasons. Its ultralight weight (ULTRA LIGHT) and the reliable locking system make it a product particularly appreciated by expert mountain guides and hikers. The pole is made up of five extensible sections in CARBON 3k, the exclusive Gabel fiber that allows you to obtain a pole that is 20 % more resistant and 18 % lighter than common carbon poles.

Wired

• The innovated technology WIRED will allow you to bend your pole, using a simple button. The different pole’s sections are connected with a high-strength cable. The advantage of this technology is having a pole very compact, light, less bulky and easy to carry.

Fast Lock – Fast and Reliable

• The innovative system FAST LOCK the external locking technology based on the eccentric mechanism, offering an alternative to the standard locking systems that need a rotation of the tubes. This system locks the tubes through an external lever and it is really fast and reliable, even in extreme conditions of low temperature or when wearing gloves.
• In the new Fast Lock 2012 also the micrometric adjustment system has been improved. The adjustment can be done manually, without any additional tools.

Carbide – Tip Sharp and Durable

• The tips of poles play an all-important role: sharp and durable, Gabel tips guarantee a sure grip on any type of terrain. Trekking poles have Widia tips. Rubber caps are also available for absorbing the impact on hard terrain.
