Built on RØDE Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption and near-zero latency codec, it delivers crystal-clear, stable audio with a range of up to 260 m — reliable wireless performance for virtually any recording application.

32-Bit Float Recording

On-board 32-bit float recording acts as a constant safety backup for every session. Any take recorded too loud or too quiet can be fully recovered in post-production, eliminating the need to monitor gain levels during capture and making ruined recordings a thing of the past.

Timecode Synchronisation

Built-in timecode capability allows flawless synchronisation of audio and video without any external timecode hardware. This simplifies multi-camera or hybrid shooting setups and significantly reduces post-production workflow complexity.

GainAssist and Safety Channel

GainAssist technology automatically detects and adjusts the input signal level for smooth, balanced audio in any recording environment. Flexible gain controls and tailored presets allow precise matching to a camera or recorder, while the Safety Channel adds a second recording at a lower level as an extra layer of protection.

Headphone Output

A high-power headphone output with on-board level control enables real-time field monitoring of incoming audio. The headphone input also accepts a headset or lavalier microphone, providing a dedicated third audio track for narration or presenter audio.

Connectivity and Compatibility

Analog 3.5 mm and digital USB-C outputs make the Wireless PRO universally compatible with cameras, audio recorders, iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, and Windows and Mac computers. The USB-C output also functions as a full audio interface, enabling direct recording into any audio app or streaming platform.

Display and Controls

A bright LCD display provides at-a-glance monitoring of audio levels, gain settings, recording status, and battery life. Dedicated controls on the transmitters and receiver allow on-the-fly adjustments, and full system configuration is available through the RØDE Central companion app on desktop or smartphone.

Smart Charge Case

The included smart charge case protects all components during transport, keeps the system charged and ready, and supports ultra-fast data transfer for quick export of on-board recordings. Locking 3.5 mm lavalier connectors on the transmitters prevent accidental disconnection during shoots.

Wireless PRO ships with two professional Lavalier II microphones, furry windshields for outdoor use, two MagClip GO attachments, the smart charging case, and an accessory pack for cables, clips, and lavaliers — everything needed to start recording wirelessly straight out of the box.

Direct Connect for iOS

A firmware update introduces Direct Connect, allowing the transmitters to connect directly to iOS devices via Bluetooth® through the RØDE Capture app — without a physical receiver. Direct Connect supports real-time signal level monitoring, separate or combined track recording, GainAssist control from the app, and maintains the full 32-bit float internal backup (32 GB / over 40 hours). Firmware activation is performed via the RØDE Central desktop app.
