New ultralight sleeping bag made of recycled material. Ferrino Lightec Shingle range of ultra-light synthetic sleeping bags with excellent thermal performance. The filling is made of recycled Repreve® fibers. 30 half-liter PET bottles are used to make one Bryce sleeping bag. The '' Shingle '' design effectively decomposes the padding, which increases heat output without the need to add additional padding. The insulated leg covers the zippers to prevent heat loss, and the zippers are sewn with a solid liner to prevent the rider from getting stuck to the surrounding material. The hood can be removed using a cord and One Touch system, which simplifies handling. • Shingle construction: The specific shingle construction effectively spreads the filling inside the sleeping bag and it is possible to create a higher heat output with the same filling weight. The individual layers of the filling overlap to cover the individual transitions between them, thus reducing temperature losses.
• Temperature testing according to EN ISO 23537-1: 2016: All Ferrino sleeping bags are subject to temperature testing according to a standard carried out by an independent center. Testing takes place on a manikin with sensors, which is stored in a sleeping bag, and the comfort temperature for men and women is evaluated separately by gradually reducing the ambient temperature.
