This is primarily because the UP Seoul is made entirely from recycled materials – 37 x 0.5-litre PET bottles to be precise. The textile manufacturing process is carried out according to the stringent bluesign® standard. And secondly, the amount of water and crude oil used is significantly reduced.

• The UP Seoul is designed to accommodate everything you need for a day at work, at uni or when you’re just out and about. With its new wide aperture fold-over zip closure, you can even expand the capacity by up to 10 litres. This style of opening also provides good oversight and quick access to contents within the main compartment.

• The light padded back with the airy cover ensures a comfortable fit and even load distribution. The ergonomic S-shaped shoulder straps also ensure good carrying comfort.

GREEN BUTTON CERTIFIED PRODUCT

• The Green Button is a government-run certification label for sustainable textiles. Everyone who aims to purchase socially and environmentally sustainable clothes should look out for the Green Button. There is currently no other label like the Green Button. It demands that mandatory standards are met to protect people and the environment. A total of 46 stringent social and environmental criteria must be met, covering a wide spectrum from wastewater to forced labour.

PFC FREE

• This deuter product is free of per- / polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health.
• PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties.
• Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.
