Easy-access large zipper opening

• A full-length front zipper opening makes it quick and easy to access and pack away contents.

Practical zipper garage for safety

• The spacious main compartment has plenty of room for everything you need and keeps it safely stowed, yet within reach, thanks to a clever zipper garage that prevents unwanted opening. (AC Lite 15 SL, 17, 21 SL, 23, 25 EL) Further stow options include a cell phone pocket, lid compartments and gear loops that can be used to attach a jacket or other items to the outside of the pack.

SL Women’s Fit

• This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the Deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.

Deuter Aircomfort

• Maximum ventilation is the guiding principle for us when it comes to small to medium volume backpacks for use in easier terrain. The resilient core of the Aircomfort systems is the permanently elastic spring steel frame. It provides the special airy mesh with stable tension even under heavy loads, creating a ventilation space between the backpack and the back, through which moist air can freely evaporate.

Recycled fabric

• This model was made from recycled materials.

PFAS free

• This deuter product is free of intentionally used PFAS (per- / polyfluorinated chemicals). deuter thus reduces the use of substances, that are known to harm the environment and health.
• For Outdoor products PFAS are mainly used for water repellant treatments.
• Instead, deuter uses since 2019 alternative DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation.

Climatepartner certified product

• By adopting more materials and technologies that have a smaller carbon footprint in collections we are taking positive steps toward reducing CO2 emissions. But despite greatest efforts, it’s impossible to make products climate neutral. And so, we’ve teamed up with Climate Partner to offset any unavoidable CO2 emissions. From now on, the volume of emissions released by the production and transport of any ClimatePartner certified deuter product purchased will be compensated for through voluntary offsetting and targeted investment in select social and climate protection projects.

Bluesign product

• Consumer products that carry the bluesign product label conform to the strict safety and environmental requirements of the bluesign system criteria. The textiles and accessories used to manufacture the products with the bluesign approved label are produced in a way that saves valuable resources and has a minimum impact on people and the environment.

Green button certified product

• The Green Button is a government-run certification label for sustainable textiles. Everyone who aims to purchase socially and environmentally sustainable clothes should look out for the Green Button. There is currently no other label like the Green Button. It demands that mandatory standards are met to protect people and the environment. A total of 46 stringent social and environmental criteria must be met, covering a wide spectrum from wastewater to forced labour.
