MERINO ALL AROUND
Did you know that Merino wool is a powerful heat insulator that is naturally antibacterial and anti-odour? We know this, which is why we surround your foot entirely in this extraordinary natural material. Its fine, curly fibres have a diameter of 16.5-24 microns, making them particularly soft. The special finishing process makes them silky and non-scratchy.
All our shoes are made of 100% Merino wool on the inside, so you can wear them even without socks on.
PLASTIC DOESN’T POLLUTE, PROVIDED YOU RECYCLE IT!
The world produces more than 300 million tonnes of plastic every year. Much of it is used only once for a very short time, but then it lingers for hundreds of years in the environment. So we give new life to plastic. We recycle it to make the yarn forming the outer layer of your UYN shoes.
SUGAR CANE FOR SWEET WALKING
Sugar cane has come a long way, starting by crossing the Atlantic with Christopher Columbus! We think it can go a long way with you, too. This is why we used by-products of sugar cane processing to create an innovative high-performance foam We use it to give form and structure to the insole of your UYN Free Flow shoes, which we then cover with Merino wool. A high-performing, lightweight, eco-sustainable solution!
Care
A NEW TURN. WASHABLE AT 30°
Not a day-to-day phenomenon. But designed for day-to-day life. UYN® shoes can be washed conveniently in the washing machine. This not only renews the feeling of freshness, it also prolongs the life of the shoes.
WASH AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
UYN® shoes can be washed on delicate/ wool cycle at maximum temperature of 30°.
Do not wash with other textiles. In order to maintain the durability of our shoes, use a laundry net and a liquid wool detergent.
Never spin dry your UYN® woollen shoes and do not put them in the dryer. Light soiling can be removed by using a soft brush or cloth.
