Electric guitar with ST-style body shape from 1960’s series that features a custom combination of Seymour Duncan and Rockfield pickups enhanced with the exclusive Epic Eleven electronics mod. This Epic Eleven electronics hot-rod mod delivers maximum sonic versatility – it allows for breaking away from the typical 5 tones limitation of a traditional 5-way switch wiring. The secret sauce is the added mini-toggle, which allows user to add in the neck pickup into configurations where it would not normally be available. The second way that the Epic Eleven Mod adds sonic options is with a push-pull on the Master Volume which allows user to coil tap the bridge humbucker, switching from hum to a vintage single coil tone. Body of the instrument is made of swamp ash and features a quilt maple top and exotic flame maple binding. The bolt-on, modern “C”-shaped maple neck with dual action truss rod is fitted with a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard (10.5”-16”) with 22 medium jumbo frets and dot inlays. Scale length is 647.7 mm, nut width is 43 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Rockfield Fat Stacked Single-Coil pickup in the neck position, the Rockfield SSC Single-Coil pickup in the middle position and the USA Seymour Duncan 59/Custom Hybrid Humbucker (TB-16b) pickup in the bridge position. It also features the Michael Kelly Twin-Edge bridge with two-point floating tremolo with the MK Open Back design. For decades guitarists have removed their back plate on their tremolo equipped double cutaways for a sonic enhancement but with this design they get that sonic edge with a finished look. Other features include a MK 6 Classic headstock made with Bird’s Eye maple, standard bone string nut, gold and chrome hardware, Grover locking machine heads and D’Addario EXL120 strings (.009-.042). Aged Cherry Burst colour design.
